A global community for the next generation of storytellers…

TRAINING

OUR PHILOSOPHY

We believe great young artists develop through three essential experiences…

Craft & Creative Tools

Before artists can express themselves freely, they need tools. At Imaginarium, students build a strong foundation in acting, filmmaking and storytelling. We believe technique creates confidence, craft creates freedom, and imagination thrives best when it has something strong to stand on.  Through practical, hands on training, young artists develop the skills needed to bring ideas vividly to life.

Collaboration & Creative Resilience

Young artists grow through making.  At Imaginarium, students experience the full creative process: from concept to collaboration, from uncertainty to problem solving, and ultimately to sharing work with an audience.  They learn to pitch ideas, work in teams, navigate setbacks, receive feedback and finish ambitious projects.

Voice, Imagination & Authenticity

Perhaps most importantly, we help young people discover their own creative voice.  By learning to trust their instincts, imagination and perspective, students develop not only stronger creative skills, but a stronger sense of themselves.  We want young people to leave Imaginarium as thoughtful, playful and emotionally intelligent storytellers capable of creating work that feels honest, original and deeply human.

HOW IT WORKS

Imaginarium is built around a year round international creative community.  Young artists train online in small, carefully curated groups, developing their skills in acting, filmmaking and storytelling while collaborating with like minded peers from around the world.  These weekly sessions create consistency, creative momentum and belonging,  allowing young artists to grow not only in skill, but in confidence, voice and creative identity.

Throughout the year, this training is elevated through immersive in person experiences and residencies, where students come together to create, collaborate and deepen the work.

A YEAR BUILT IN CREATIVE SEASONS

At Imaginarium, our year moves in cycles, allowing students to build skills, make work, collaborate and deepen their creative identity over time.

AUTUMN

Skills & Foundation

Autumn is about building the toolkit.  Students strengthen their craft through focused training in acting, filmmaking and storytelling, developing the practical skills needed to bring ideas to life.

SPRING

Creation & Collaboration

Spring is where ideas begin to take shape.  Students move into longer creative projects, collaborating over time to develop films, performances and original work. For older students, accredited pathways and portfolio development are woven naturally into the process.

SUMMER

Imagination & Play

Summer protects the heart of creativity.  Through theatre games, creative challenges and imaginative projects, students reconnect to joy, spontaneity and artistic curiosity.

from FIRST STEPS to LEADERSHIP

At Imaginarium, students grow with us…

Over time, they develop not only stronger creative skills, but stronger character. They become actors, filmmakers and writers who are confident collaborators, creative problem solvers and courageous storytellers.

Young people capable of imagining boldly, creating meaningful work and building a creative life.
